Founder's work, on contract to a large school district, 2009–2010, years before BitSalt existed. The award went to a statewide submission; the district-side implementation is the one PESC's own comparison names as real-time and correctly ordered where the state's older path was neither.
School Financial Software, a Decade Old and Still Adding Up
One of the largest school districts in the U.S. ran its entire funding formula out of a single file of Perl only its original author could safely touch. Working alone, under contract, we replaced it, and it ran the district's school-by-school funding allocations correctly for the next ten years.
