What you get

A written document about your product, section by section: what the code does, what the database holds, what runs on a schedule, what your dependencies pull in, and where those four disagree with each other.

Every finding arrives with the thing that produced it. The query and what it returned. The count. The request and the response. You can run it again yourself, and so can anyone you hand it to.

The examination ends in the findings. There's no build attached, nothing to sign afterward, and nothing in it is contingent on hiring us.

How this differs from the larger examination

For software that has lost whoever used to look after it, we publish a bigger one. That examination ends in a bounded priced register of work: what we found, scoped and quoted, ready to become a project.

This one ends in the findings. Nothing after them is priced, so there is no version of this document that pays us better than another version would. If what you built holds up in the places we look, it says so, and you can check that the same way you check everything else in it.

How you check what we tell you

Every finding is written so it can be reproduced without us. Where we counted something, the count is there with the query that produced it. Where we say a thing runs, there is the log line and the timestamp. Where we say two parts of the system disagree, both sides are quoted.

Give the document to somebody else to check, including the tools you already use to read your own code. Each finding names a place to go and a thing to expect there, so checking one is a matter of looking. A finding nobody can check is one we should not have written, and we'd want to hear about it.

We published one of these, linked below. Read it before you decide anything about us.

Vibe code audit

$2,500

For the product you built with AI coding tools and now want somebody else to look at

One product, as it runs today: the code, the data, the scheduled work, and the services it leans on. You get the written examination and nothing is withheld from it.

Bigger or messier than that is the same examination, scoped and quoted to fit. This price is a floor, not a ceiling.

If you want somebody keeping the product afterward, we do that too. It's a separate arrangement, and you decide on it after you've read what we found.

Tell us what you built.

A short description is enough to start: what the product does, who uses it, and what broke the last time you changed something. We'll tell you what the examination would cover for your product, and you can decide from there.
